
The Black Princesses of Ghana have departed Ghana for Poland ahead of the 2026 FIFA U20 Womens World Cup.The 17-member squad, accompanied by the technical team, departed Accra for Poland on Sunday ahead of the tournament, which is scheduled to run from 5 to 27 September 2026.

Ghana Women National Teams (@GhanaWNT) August 16, 2026The Black Princesses intensified their preparations last month after resuming camping at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.The team secured their place at the global tournament following a strong qualifying campaign and will now turn their attention to competing against some of the best young women’s teams in the world.Ghana will be hoping to make a strong impression in Poland as they represent the country and African football on the international stage.At the World Cup, Ghana have been drawn in Group C alongside the Republic, Ecuador and France.The tournament will bring together some of the leading young women’s football teams from across the world, with Ghana among the African representatives seeking to make an impact.
